The structure of the greenhouses of the associate companies
PontiNatura Soc. Coop. Agricola contains within it different technologically innovative elements.

The production structure is one of the most modern and innovative for the cultivation of the products that we have described, and guarantees our clients quality, service and safety.

This page gives a detailed explanation of the various technologies used at the company PontiNatura Soc. Coop. Agricola, and a photo gallery at the side illustrates some of them.

The structure is a multi-tunnel with elevated height and width, made of galvanized steel;
the ventilation system is fitted with a ‘gull-wing’ opening mechanism automatically operated by constant control of the following parameters: internal and external temperature, humidity, wind speed and rain;
the irrigation system is composed of automated bars and only uses well water.

The special machinery used to cultivate and harvest the cultivated products is able to optimize all phases of the process in order to obtain the best quality and healthy product, such as:

• an automated washing line for the Valerian
• a rapid cooling system for the just harvested or washed product
  (VACUUM COOLER)
• a cell to store the product at 2-4°.
  
  

Other services:

• two docks for fast loading and unloading of vehicles;
• a line to produce polystyrene packaging of 500 and 1000 grams;
• offices and facilities.
